In readiness of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin to affiliate with the University of Ilorin for her degree programs, the College today, Wednesday 3rd April, 2019 hosted a team from University of Ilorin to verify the available human and physical resources available in the College.

The team led by the Director Affiliate programs of the University of Ilorin, Dr. R.I. Adebayo arrived at the College by 10:30 am. They were received by the Provost of the College, Dr. AbdulRaheem Yusuf; the Governing Council Chairman, Prince Aremu Olota; members of the College management, Deans, Directors and some members of the College staff.

In his welcome address, the Council Chairman, Prince Olota, expressed the College's appreciation to the University of Ilorin for honoring her proposal. He equally commended the efforts of the College Provost on his dreams of taking the College to the next level.

The Provost, Dr. AbdulRaheem Yusuf, in his short address, stressed that the College's intention to source for partnership with the University was premised on the unbeaten academic records of the 'better by far' University.

While reacting, the team leader Dr. Adebayo said the team did not come to witch-hunt but to assess and give constructive suggestions on how to build a solid academic foundation that would be the pride of both parties.

Other members of the verification team were the Dean Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin Professor (Mrs) Salman and staff of the University Academic Planning.
